Event Details

Alastair Clark is back this month to give his latest Heritage talk.

The shelves of our libraries and bookshops are full of books about canals, railways and cars, but the humble packhorse seems to have been forgotten… We will examine the evidence that does exist of this forgotten but important part of our country’s history – a history which left its mark on the landscape!   This talk begins at 7.30pm on Friday 28 May.

The talk will be delivered to you online through Zoom (which is free to use, and we will send you instructions).  In order to cover our costs and begin generating much needed income for the charity which runs the Heritage Centre, we are charging £5 for tickets for this event, bookable through the events page on our website (You do not need a Paypal account – please follow the instructions on the page to pay by credit card). When we receive confirmation of your payment we will send out a joining link.  If you have any other queries or would like to join our event mailing list, please contact us at info@wirksworthheritagecentre.org.
