  • Hidden Wirksworth Guided Walk (Adult ticket)


    Our popular guided walks around the historic alleys of Wirksworth are back.  This guided walk ticket is for an adult on one of our pre-booked tours running from outside the Heritage Centre on St John’s Street (DE4 4DS) every Wednesday to Sunday afternoon (14.30). Our first tour slot is Saturday 15th August, and the last available slot is currently Sunday September 20th.

    We have put in place measures to ensure your safety by restricting these to a single household or family group (between 3 and 6 people maximum). These walks last just over an hour.  Please email us first at to provisionally reserve your date – do not make your payment here until the availability of your preferred slot has been confirmed.

    Bookings must be made and paid for at the latest by 17.00 on the previous day, although you can of course book much further ahead.

    Each place costs £5 per adult and £1 tickets are available for under 16s (who are not allowed unaccompanied by an adult).

    Our popular guided walks are back, and we have put in place measures to ensure your safety by restricting these to a single household or family group (between 3 and 6 people maximum). These walks last just over an hour, and are available as pre-booked tours every Wednesday to Sunday afternoon, initially from August 15th to September 20th, starting at 14.30. Children under 16 yrs) must be accompanied by an adult.

  • Museum time allocated visit


    To ensure your safety and comfort at the present time we are offering exclusive access to our museum galleries in timed 45 minute slots (available on the hour, Friday-Tuesday 10am – 3pm) for up to four individuals or two household ‘bubble’ groups. Please book these by contacting us stating your preferred day and time at or by calling 01629 707000 during opening hours. When you have been allocated an agreed time slot please make payment here.  Please also ensure that you arrive 10 minutes before this so that we can guide you safely to the start of your visit.
