Our first Heritage Talk of the year looks at the work of Wirksworth’s archaeologists, and is presented by Anton Shone.  It covers the exciting discovery of finds from the Roman villa site at Scowbrook, and recent trail digs carried out on the Meadow (even under the restrictions of last year!)  This presentation starts at 7.30pm on Friday 29th January.

The talk will be delivered to you online through Zoom (which is free to use, and we will send you instructions).  In order to cover our costs and begin generating much needed income for the charity which runs the Heritage Centre, we are charging £5 for tickets for this event, bookable through the events page on our website (You do not need a Paypal account – please follow the instructions on the page to pay by credit card).
