Living and working in the Antarctica

Experiences of Antarctica during a 35-year career with the British Antarctic Survey… This talk explores Andy Smith’s time at the Halley Research station, Antarctica, where he lived and worked for two years.  It begins at 7.30pm on Friday 30th April.

The talk will be delivered to you online through Zoom (which is free to use, and we will send you instructions).  In order to cover our costs and begin generating much needed income for the charity which runs the Heritage Centre, we are charging £5 for tickets for this event, bookable through the events page on our website (You do not need a Paypal account – please follow the instructions on the page to pay by credit card).
